In Shape tourism competitions - terms and conditions

December 2020 competition

Entrants into the In Shape competition prize draw shall be deemed to have accepted our terms and conditions.​​​​​​:

• Only one entry per person
• All entries must provide both their name and address by:
• email to tourism@sevenoaks.gov.uk or
• by post to: In Shape Competition, Sevenoaks District Council, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks, Kent TN13 1HG
• Entrants may optionally also provide a telephone number to help the Council contact them in the event that they are selected as a winner
• Entrants under 16 must get consent from their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before entering. The parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of entrants under 16 agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the entrant. This does not affect the right of the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) entering in their own right.
• All entries must be received by 5pm on Friday 18 November 2020. Entries received after this time shall not be considered. No responsibility can be held for entries not received for whatever reason
• The draw will be performed by a randomised computer process from the correct entries
• One winning prize per address
• Winners will be contacted within five days of being drawn
• Winners will have seven days to accept their prize. If a winner does not respond within seven days, or declines the prize then he or she will forfeit that prize and another winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the above process until a winner is selected and can be contacted.
• All prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
• Both prizes are valid for one year from the date of issue.
• The Hever Castle tickets are subject to usual terms and conditions of Hever Castle.
• Employees of Sevenoaks District Council, Castle Farm and Hever Castle are not permitted to enter this prize draw.
• Sevenoaks District Council reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition in the event of supervening events outside of its control
• If any prizes expire before they are allocated then Sevenoaks District Council reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition
• The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
