A personal licence authorises you to sell alcohol or allow the sale of alcohol at a premises which has a valid premises licence.
Personal licences are needed to supervise the sale of alcohol in any premises - including pubs, off licences, restaurants and hotels.

- Making an application

You must be 18 years old and live in the Sevenoaks District to apply. If you live outside of the Sevenoaks District, you should apply to your local council.
The fee for this licence is £37.
Before you apply, you will need the following:
- A Disclosure and Barring Service Basic Check issued within the past month
- A relevant qualification certificate
- Two photographs of yourself. Please read our guide to photos for Personal Licence applications
- Your passport.
Please scan these documents and photos as you will be asked to upload when you apply.
Once you have completed your application, please send us the original copies of your Disclosure and Barring Service Check and qualification certificate, your photos and a copy of your passport to the address below. We reserve the right to request original documentation.
