Disposable nappies cannot be recycled and must be bagged and put in with your waste sacks.
Just one disposable nappy in with your recycling could lead to the whole lorry load of good recycling being rejected. As a result, our collection crews will not take any recycling that contains disposable nappies.
The recycling bags will be left and emptied the following week, provided that the nappies have been removed.

You could save money and reduce the amount waste by switching to reusable cloth nappies. Find out more on the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) website.
