You must tell us when you move, so we can make sure your Council Tax account is up to date.
Please report if you are new to the District by completing the moving section in our Council Tax Account area on the website.
If you are moving within or out of the District, or have a change of tenant at your property, please report this to us via our online Council Tax Account page in two ways:
- Either using your Council Tax account sign in
- If you don’t have an account click on: report a change of address in the ‘top tasks’ bar near the top of the page to get to the relevant form.
You will need your Council Tax reference number to complete the form.

Tell us about other changes in circumstances
Such as:
- If someone moves in or out of your household
- If there’s now only one person in the household aged 18 or over, you may be eligible for a single person discount

- You change your name due to marriage, divorce or deed poll
- Someone dies who lived alone, and the property is now empty,
