Properties occupied by a local newspaper, which are wholly or mainly used as office premises for journalists and reporters, may be eligible for this relief.
A maximum of one discount per local newspaper title and per property can be awarded.
Awards are subject to state aid limits.
A discount of up to £1,500 per year is available up to 31 March 2025.
We will identify those who appear to qualify and award the relief automatically. We will then write to you confirming the award and asking you to make a State Aid declaration if appropriate.
