We are looking to recruit motivated staff to fill a number of important paid roles on election days.
Our roles for the General Election on Thursday 4 July are currently fully staffed, but we are continuing to accept applications to work at future elections.

You must be at least 18 years old to work as a Presiding Officer or a Poll Clerk and at least 16 years old to work as a Counting Assistant. You must also be entitled to work in the UK (in accordance with the provisions of the Asylum and Immigration Act 2006).
If successful, before taking up your appointment, you must provide in-person evidence of your eligibility to work in the UK by showing us either your valid passport or your birth certificate and proof of national insurance number (e.g. a P60, P45 or payslip, etc.)
If you are appointed to work at an election you cannot work on behalf of a candidate during an election campaign, nor be related to a candidate.
Polling and count staff must consent to working in excess of the normal working hours provided for by the working time directive.
