Independent Examination
Sevenoaks District Council appointed DEREK STEBBING BA (Hons) DipEP MRTPI, of Intelligent Plans and Examinations (IPE), as Independent Examiner of the Fawkham Neighbourhood Plan.
The Examiner published his final report on 24 October 2024.

Publicising the Plan proposal (Regulation 16)
Sevenoaks District Council published the submitted Fawkham Neighbourhood Plan for consultation from Friday 7 June to Friday 19 July 2024.
Submission (Regulation 15)
Fawkham Parish Council formally submitted the Fawkham Neighbourhood Plan proposal to Sevenoaks District Council on Wednesday 10 April 2024.
In accordance with Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), the submission includes the following documents:

Pre-submission consultation (Regulation 14)
Fawkham Parish Council carried out a pre-submission consultation from Monday 3 July to Tuesday 15 August 2023.
Designated Neighbourhood Area
Sevenoaks District Council designated the area of Fawkham Neighbourhood Plan Area Designation in May 2021 following an application from Fawkham Parish Council.
