Each year Sevenoaks District Council provide grants to support the work of voluntary and charitable organisations across the District.
The Community Grants scheme supports volunteer-led services within the District that help the health and wellbeing of residents. Community groups (whether newly formed or long-standing) that fall into this category are being encouraged to apply for a grant of up to £5,000 to support their work. Successful applicants will receive their funding in April 2022.
Cabinet Member for ‘People and Places’, Cllr Lesley Dyball, says: “Our Community Grants scheme is something we are really proud of. The funding helps dozens of voluntary and charitable groups to improve the quality of life for many, especially our vulnerable, older and younger residents.”
“I urge local groups to make the most of this wonderful opportunity so they can carry on their amazing work.”
More information about the grants can be found at www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/communitygrants
